Program Information

Working with leading corporate partners and member universities, Enactus United States establishes student programs on campuses across the nation. With the support and encouragement of their Enactus advisors and a local business advisory board, students apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects that have the power to enable real human progress through entrepreneurial action.

The Enactus program is designed to foster an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages creativity and resourcefulness. Teams address a wide variety of issues, and rather than mandating a uniform set of projects, teams have the opportunity to work within the framework while developing projects based on the diverse needs of people in different communities.

By using the business concepts they are learning in the classroom to help others, students develop stronger business and leadership skills, as well as a sense of service and responsibility to the community and world around them.  Through their experiences, students are emerging as leaders who understand the opportunity of empowering others to create a sustainable impact towards changing the world.

Enactus Judging Criterion

Considering the relevant economic, social and environmental factors, which Enactus team most effectively empowered people in need by applying business and economic concepts and an entrepreneurial approach to improve their quality of life and standard of living?

The Enactus Judging Criterion provides guidance and focus for the community outreach projects developed by teams worldwide.  The criterion places strong emphasis on purpose, clearly defining a unique space for Enactus and accentuating our core belief that business can be used to make the world a better place.  While offering a broad-based focus on approach, it also places great emphasis on outcomes.
